Tamra Gaines is Vice President, Experiences at Cornerstone League, the largest trade association for credit unions serving a five-state region.
With almost three decades of experience in both the corporate structure, as well as associations, Tamra specializes in strategic meetings management, professional and leadership development, and training.
Tamra is also an accomplished public speaker and a mentor to professional meeting planners. Through her public speaking events and professional volunteer service with Big Brothers-Big Sisters and others, Tamra developed a strong desire to educate and motivate others to stretch toward their potential. She captured these lessons in her book The Pillars of Confidence that explores specific actions readers can take to be more confident in their professional and personal lives and become more effective leaders.
Tamra has earned several awards based on her advanced experience and leadership in the hospitality industry and her current and past board and volunteer roles include Richland College Advisory Council, SIP (Stand, Inspire & Provide) benefiting No Kid Hungry, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, both the Little Rock CVB & Visit McKinney Boards and Past President, Meeting Professionals International, Dallas/Ft Worth Chapter. Tamra also received her certificate of DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) for HR from Cornell University and is a certified speaker with the John Maxwell Leadership Team.
Tamra loves to travel, cook and drink wine with her husband, Ron. They share their home with Tamra’s mom and two beagles, Mazie and CeCe.
